Join Cloverleaf to lead our communications and community engagement as we develop innovative solutions for the world’s largest electric loads. We develop power-ready and construction-ready sites that enable the growth of cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and domestic manufacturing. As a fast-paced company with experienced founders and a collaborative culture, we are looking for a strategic leader to effectively connect our large-scale infrastructure projects with the communities where they are located.

In collaboration with the leadership team, this role will be responsible for the following:

  • Brand & Media Management: Oversee the company website, marketing materials, and overall branding to ensure a consistent, industry-leading image.
  • Media Outreach: Act as the primary point of contact for media inquiries and develop proactive press strategies to highlight Cloverleaf’s work
  • Community Engagement: Design and lead local engagement initiatives, including focus groups and community informational sessions, to build long-term trust with residents and local officials.
  • Educational Advocacy: Develop clear educational materials that demystify data center operations and address local impacts directly and transparently.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner across functions to ensure community feedback is integrated into project development and execution.
  • Strategy Execution: Develop and execute communication strategies for multiple key markets simultaneously.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 7+ years of professional experience in communications, public relations, or community affairs.
  • Communication Mastery: Superior skills in preparing clear, professional materials, presentations, and digital content.
  • Strategic Mindset: A creative thinker with a consistent ability to "think outside the box" when addressing complex public perceptions.
  • Interpersonal Success: A demonstrated ability to create win-win outcomes between corporate objectives and community needs.
  • Independent Drive: Strong project management skills and the ability to thrive in an environment that requires constant experimentation.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Travel: Willingness to travel 25% of the time for in-person community meetings and site visits.

Location

Cloverleaf maintains an in-office culture to foster collaboration and mentorship. When not traveling to project sites, team members are expected to work from our Seattle, Washington or Houston, Texas offices. The Houston office is preferred for this role.

Director, Communications and Community Engagement

In this role, you will be responsible for translating complex infrastructure projects into clear, compelling messages that highlight the benefits of our data center campuses—such as economic development and local infrastructure.
