Position Description
Reporting to the Vice President of Community Engagement and Communications, the Communications Manager will support the execution of Cloverleaf’s external engagement, communications, and community impact efforts across multiple markets. This role is ideal for a highly organized, collaborative professional who enjoys working across communications, stakeholder engagement, project coordination, and events in a fast-moving infrastructure environment.
This individual will help translate complex infrastructure and development work into clear, accessible communications while supporting community engagement activities, external partnerships, events, and cross-functional coordination.
Key Job Responsibilities
External Communications & Public Relations
- Support day-to-day coordination with external communications, public relations, and creative agency partners.
- Assist with drafting and coordinating external communications materials including website content, talking points, presentations, briefing handouts, and announcements.
- Support development of educational and informational materials that help communities understand data center development and related impacts.
- Help maintain consistency across Cloverleaf’s external messaging, brand narrative, and communications materials.
- Track media activity, speaking opportunities, and external communications deliverables.
- Conduct research related to community priorities, workforce initiatives, local partnerships, and industry trends.
Events & Stakeholder Experiences
- Coordinate internal and external events including community meetings, project announcements, industry conferences, site visits, and stakeholder gatherings.
- Manage event logistics, vendor coordination, materials preparation, scheduling, and attendee communications.
- Support creation of thoughtful stakeholder experiences that reinforce Cloverleaf’s values and long-term community relationships.
Project & Program Management
- Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and workflows across multiple community engagement and communications initiatives simultaneously.
- Help manage cross-functional projects involving development, policy, engineering, operations, and executive leadership teams.
- Maintain organized systems for tracking initiatives, stakeholder engagement, communications assets, and project milestones.
- Support preparation for leadership meetings, internal communications, training, reporting, and strategic planning sessions.
- Assist with tracking engagement outcomes and maintaining systems that support continuous improvement across markets.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, public affairs, public relations, marketing, sustainability, business, or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
Qualifications
Experience
- Approximately 5+ years of professional experience in communications, public relations, community engagement, project management, events, marketing, sustainability, or related fields.
- Experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments preferred.
- Experience supporting external communications, stakeholder engagement, or community-facing initiatives strongly preferred.
Skills & Capabilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally across varied audiences.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining responsiveness and follow-through.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive working relationships internally and externally.
- Comfortable working independently while coordinating across teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, presentation tools, and project management systems.
Travel
- Willingness to travel for community meetings, events, and project site visits.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $70,000-100,000, based on experience and qualifications
- Equity participation in the company

Location: Cloverleaf maintains an in-office culture to support collaboration and mentorship. This role is expected to work from the Seattle, Washington or Houston, Texas office when not traveling to project sites or events.
